I bought my first camera, a 35mm Minolta, in 1983. It traveled with me cross country, to Hawaii, Europe and even China. It served me well for family photos and several family trips to the southwest. When I first heard about digital cameras I swore I'd stay true to my old standby, but time has a way of changing things. In 2006, I broke down and bought a Sony Cyber-shot as a back up camera and haven't looked back since. Today I shoot with a Nikon D80 and use Microsoft Image and Photoshop to enhance my photos. I consider myself an avid hobbyist and hope that the images I create will be enjoyed.

In May of 2008 I had my first showing of "Greetings from Worcester" at the C.C. Lowell "First Show" Gallery. The original collection started as 26 images and it continues to grow. The original group of images were all places that I had seen or frequented many times. Worcester is a city full of treasures for a photographer, where landmarks and obscurities live side by side. I have tried to work with color saturation, graphics and different perspectives to give each image it's own life. I hope these images either bring back some great memories or inspire you to get out and take a closer look at what you've been missing. As I continue to show my work, the people I meet continue to give me new ideas and places to check out. I appreciate the hints and I will continue the pursuit of developing my Worcester collection. Thank you for the support and encouragement.
